Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

The UMass/Memorial Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program goal is to improve access to medical and dental care for underserved children and their families by providing health services in a community-based mobile clinic. There is no cost to patients for the care they offer. They visit 10 Worcester neighborhood sites where, in addition to providing medical and dental services, they also work with families to find resources for ongoing health care, including access to primary care providers, assistance with health insurance enrollment, and referral to other social services as needed. This mobile clinic will not provide care for illness or injury based visits. It is for preventative care including: physical exams, lab testing, immunizations, TB testing, and Dental services. You will need to provide a bill (of any kind) to show address. It is available to anyone in Worcester or surrounding communities.

The UMass/Memorial Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program goal is to improve access to medical and dental care for underserved children and their families by providing health services in a community-based mobile clinic. There is no cost to patients for the care they offer. They visit 10 Worcester neighborhood sites where, in addition to providing medical and dental services, they also work with families to find resources for ongoing health care, including access to primary care providers, assistance with health insurance enrollment, and referral to other social services as needed. This mobile clinic will not provide care for illness or injury based visits. It is for preventative care including: physical exams, lab testing, immunizations, TB testing, and Dental services. You will need to provide a bill (of any kind) to show address. It is available to anyone in Worcester or surrounding communities.

SEPACS - Special Education Parent Advisory Councils
MassPac - A SEPAC is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state law assigns both an advisory and participatory function to SEPACs. Membership is offered to all parents of children with disabilities and other interested parties. MassPAC is a project of the Federation which supports both volunteer parent leaders and school district administrators to build effective parent-school partnerships to support family engagement.

Uxbridge - We are a volunteer group of family members of children with disabilities or special learning needs. We educate, support and exchange ideas and information with each other while collaborating with school professionals and administrators for the best educational experience and outcomes for our children. Our monthly meeting is the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm virtually. All members of the community are welcome to attend. Meeting typically include a special education district update as well as time for confidential support, advice and brainstorming.

Northbride -The mission of the NSEPAC is to:
1. Work toward nurturing a climate of inclusion, understanding, respect, and appropriate support and education for all children with learning differences and special needs;
2. Advise the school district on matters relating to the education and safety of students with learning differences and disabilities;
3. Meet regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the school district's special education programs.
4. Conduct workshops, in cooperation with the school district, regarding the rights of special education students and parents/guardians under the state and federal laws.
5. Promote the education of parents/guardians, students, and the community at large on the issues of special education, rights, tolerance, and services.
6. To promote family to family networking and support, including maintaining a list of community resources.

Mendon-Upton - The mission of SEPAC is to facilitate understanding, respect, and appropriate education for all children, while also supporting families and educators who are also striving for this goal. We believe that inclusion matters, that every child is unique, advocacy is welcomed, and community is important for parents and educators helping students to reach their full potential.
We welcome all parents and guardians, as well as teachers and district staff to attend SEPAC meetings and participate in the discussion. Each year we host regular meetings to discuss MURSD special education and to network with other parents, while also hosting workshops with guest speakers on topics relevant to special education.

Uxbridge - We are a volunteer group of family members of children with disabilities or special learning needs. We educate, support and exchange ideas and information with each other while collaborating with school professionals and administrators for the best educational experience and outcomes for our children. Our monthly meeting is the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm virtually. All members of the community are welcome to attend. Meeting typically include a special education district update as well as time for confidential support, advice and brainstorming.

Northbride -The mission of the NSEPAC is to:
1. Work toward nurturing a climate of inclusion, understanding, respect, and appropriate support and education for all children with learning differences and special needs;
2. Advise the school district on matters relating to the education and safety of students with learning differences and disabilities;
3. Meet regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the school district's special education programs.
4. Conduct workshops, in cooperation with the school district, regarding the rights of special education students and parents/guardians under the state and federal laws.
5. Promote the education of parents/guardians, students, and the community at large on the issues of special education, rights, tolerance, and services.
6. To promote family to family networking and support, including maintaining a list of community resources.

Mendon-Upton - The mission of SEPAC is to facilitate understanding, respect, and appropriate education for all children, while also supporting families and educators who are also striving for this goal. We believe that inclusion matters, that every child is unique, advocacy is welcomed, and community is important for parents and educators helping students to reach their full potential.
We welcome all parents and guardians, as well as teachers and district staff to attend SEPAC meetings and participate in the discussion. Each year we host regular meetings to discuss MURSD special education and to network with other parents, while also hosting workshops with guest speakers on topics relevant to special education.
